TGT – I Need

How is it I was unaware there was a R&B group made up of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank?? These three have been in the R&B scene since the early 90’s from Tyrese’s “How You Gonna Act Like That” to Ginuwine’s “Pony” and Tank’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” these three are definitely a force to be reckoned with! No doubt, they will use that romance and song lyrics from years past to bring it back to the music industry front. They’re vocals combined are great together to the point that you know they are a solid group where they have a winning combination of standing out from each other while maintaining that group sound. If you’re looking for old school r&b music with a modern twist, look no further, as TGT has got you covered to incorporate that nostalgic feel to their music.

In regards to “I Need” off of their debut album Three Kings, you can tell that all three are pouring their hearts out into this with such emotion; I love the harmony and chorus especially. This is a passionate ballad and a great single to come off of their first album together; it’s very touching and the words that they say melts even my little black heart (sorry, The Hills reference lol). I just can’t get over how their voices fuse together flawlessly! This song is great in the fact that it is about real men who’ve realized they’ve made mistakes and are trying to make amends. They’re album couldn’t have had a better title as these guys truly are kings in the R&B world.
