Tell your Mama, Paramore’s back!

I’m not even going to address the last time I wrote a blog as it’s been so long lol
Jumping right into the review of Paramore’s new single “Ain’t It Fun” off of their self-titled fourth album Paramore, I have to say, this is by far one of the best songs I’ve heard from them. In the past, the majority of their songs have been more alternative punk with a hint of pop behind it so, “Ain’t It Fun” is a bit of a change. Lyrically, the song’s use of irony is brilliant and the fact that it stands out from typical pop songs while also remaining catchy is great too. The incorporation of gospel elements with the passionate choir along with Hayley’s vocals is a amazing combination. I appreciate artists who can develop and continue to blend different elements of music together (one reason I love Muse so much). I know some fans of Paramore’s earlier albums would say they don’t sound the same which to me, is good thing because they have grown as artists and as bad a pun as this is, it wouldn’t be fun for them to be static and unchanging.
